1. Refund Policy
Customers may request a refund for eligible products within 14 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be approved for:
- Incorrect item(s) delivered
- Product damaged during transit
- Packaging significantly damaged during transit resulting in product damage
- Expired product received
- Manufacturing defects
- Verified quality concerns approved by our Customer Support team
- Items that become unavailable after payment and cannot be fulfilled
Reporting an Issue
To help us resolve your concern promptly, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order with:
- Your Order Number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of:
- The product
- The packaging
- The shipping label (where applicable)
Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund or replacement, particularly for perishable products.
Refund Processing
Once your claim has been reviewed and approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method whenever possible.
- Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
2. Return & Replacement Policy
Fresh Fruits & Vegetables
Due to their perishable nature and food safety regulations, fresh fruits and vegetables cannot be returned or exchanged once sold.
Replacement or refund may only be considered if:
- The wrong item was delivered
- The product was damaged during transit
- The packaging was severely damaged during transit
- The product was delivered in an unfit condition due to a verified quality issue
Bakery, Grocery & Other Food Products
Replacement requests may be approved in cases such as:
- Product damaged during transit
- Incorrect item delivered
- Manufacturing defects
- Expired products
- Verified quality issues
Each request is assessed individually by our Customer Support team.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
- Fresh fruits
- Fresh vegetables
- Opened food products
- Products with broken safety or hygiene seals
- Products that have been partially consumed
- Products damaged due to improper storage or handling after delivery
- Products purchased on clearance or marked as non-returnable (unless defective)
4. Natural Product Disclaimer
Many of our products are natural and minimally processed.
Natural variations in:
- Colour
- Size
- Shape
- Weight
- Aroma
- Texture
- Sweetness
- Ripeness
are expected and should not be considered defects.
Seasonal fruits, including mangoes, may naturally vary from batch to batch.
5. Delivery Inspection
We encourage customers to inspect their order upon delivery.
If you notice visible damage to the packaging or products, please notify the delivery personnel where possible and contact us within 24 hours.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.
Once an order has been dispatched or is out for delivery, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
For customised, pre-ordered, or seasonal products, cancellations may not be possible after confirmation.
7. Product Availability & Substitutions
Occasionally, products may become unavailable after an order is placed.
If this happens, we may:
- Contact you with a suitable alternative, or
- Refund the unavailable item if no suitable replacement is accepted.
8. Allergens
Some products may be manufactured or packed in facilities that also process:
- Nuts
- Dairy
- Gluten
- Soy
- Sesame
- Other common allergens
Customers with allergies should always read product labels before consumption.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sunmeet.ae’s liability is limited to the purchase value of the affected product(s).
We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from the use of our products.
10. Right to Refuse Claims
Sunmeet.ae reserves the right to decline refund or replacement requests where:
- Insufficient evidence is provided
- The claim is made outside the applicable reporting period
- The product has been consumed or substantially used before the issue was reported
- Damage resulted from improper storage, mishandling, or misuse after delivery
- The issue relates to normal variations in natural or seasonal products
