Diwali is when homes fill with the smell of fresh faral. The Sunmeet Diwali Faral Box brings six favourites together in one gift box: three savouries and three sweets, so there is something for every taste at the table.

Ingredients

Bhajani Chakli: bhajani flour (roasted rice, chana dal, urad dal, jowar, coriander and cumin), sesame seeds, red chilli, turmeric, ajwain, salt, non-hydrogenated sunflower oil.
Poha Chivda: thin poha (flattened rice), peanuts, curry leaves, turmeric, green chilli, sugar, salt, non-hydrogenated sunflower oil.
Spicy Shev: besan (gram flour), red chilli, turmeric, ajwain, salt, non-hydrogenated sunflower oil.
Sweet Shankarpali: wheat flour, sugar, milk and pure ghee, fried in non-hydrogenated sunflower oil.
Besan Ladoo: besan (gram flour), pure ghee, sugar, cardamom.
Karanji: wheat flour and semolina pastry; filling of coconut, sugar, cardamom and poppy seeds; fried in non-hydrogenated sunflower oil.

Allergens: contains wheat (gluten), sesame, peanuts and milk. Made in kitchens that also handle tree nuts.

Storage Tip
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Best enjoyed within 10 days of delivery. Close the packs well after opening to keep the savouries crisp.

The Bhajani Chakli is made from a hand-roasted blend of grains and lentils, which gives it its deep, nutty crunch. The Poha Chivda is light and lightly spiced, finished with peanuts and curry leaves. The Spicy Shev adds a little heat.

On the sweet side, the Shankarpali is crisp, golden and gently sweet, made with milk and ghee. The Besan Ladoo is slow-roasted in pure ghee until fragrant. The Karanji, a flaky pastry with a sweet coconut filling, is a centrepiece of the Diwali plate.

Every item is made in non-hydrogenated sunflower oil or pure ghee, with no palm oil, no trans fat and no preservatives. These are the same standards we follow for food we would serve our own family.
