Storage Tip
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Close the pack tightly after each use to keep the shankarpali crisp. Best enjoyed within 3–4 weeks of opening.
In Maharashtrian homes, the Diwali faral season often begins with shankarpali. A soft dough of flour, ghee, milk and sugar is rolled out, cut into small diamonds with a fluted cutter, and fried slowly until each piece turns a pale, even gold.
Our Sweet Shankarpali is made by that same traditional method. The ghee and milk give every piece a delicate, layered crunch, and the sweetness is kept light — enough to make it a treat, never so much that it hides the flavour of the dough.
Like everything at Sunmeet.ae, the recipe is kept simple and honest: no palm oil, no trans fat and no preservatives, only ingredients you would use in your own kitchen.
The 250 g pack is just right for a family faral plate, an evening cup of chai, or adding a familiar taste of home to a Diwali gift box.
